#BLWOTRVL: San Francisco

Last week I traveled to California for business trip. A four day training week; very stressful. Instead of staying in the hotel room I set out to discover and explore the fabulous city of San Francisco.

My actual location for the week was Pleasanton California, approximately 40 km distance from San Francisco. Home to the Sycamores, Rancho Santa Rita.

On this trip I decided to switch it up and take a risk staying at the Hilton hotels for the very first time at a Hilton. I can honestly say I was surprised.

I stayed at the Doubletree at Hilton and Pleasanton for the first three nights and then switched to the Hilton at Burlingame on the last night this gave me the opportunity to shorten the distance from the hotel back to the airport for my departing flight.

San Francisco is a beautiful breathtaking hilly place. Rolling green mountains can be seen for miles.

The concierge at the hotel help me to navigate best places in city to go and see. The best places to go just happened to be in the heart of the city at the pier. At the fisherman’s wharf is not hard to find great food sightseeing and City urban life.

San Francisco should be called the seafood sour dough place. Shops line the street selling everything from clam chowder, to lobster tail, fish sandwiches, and crab meat.

Prior to getting to the food I enjoyed the boating piers with tours that take you around the peninsula.

The town was filled with trolleys and streetcars bringing back decades of nostalgia. Leaving California I crossed over snowy mountains. It was a perfect way to end a spectacular week.
